Dr Bach's work

Dr Bach's remedy descriptions contained in the booklet "The Twelve Healers and Other Remedies" and his philosophical works can be downloaded at:

The understandings that Dr Bach came to in his research are outlined in his writings principally "Heal thyself" and also "Ye suffer from Yourselves" and "Free Thyself". The text is perhaps a little flowery for today but bear in mind that this was written by a very spiritual man with a deep understanding of the nature of healing and apparent religious connections. The three texts can be found in various collections of his writings and can also be downloaded from:

Homoeopathy

Homoeopathy divides mankind into three groups referred to as miasms and comes from an era when physical disease was much more unpleasant.  The symptomology describes end states of dis-ease and disease, so bear this in mind when reading miasmic descriptions. Syphilis usually has destruction as a main feature in its negative state, this does not necessarily mean destruction as in death. It may be evident in the above average number of "accidents" that befall them or their propensity to being overweight. It is also where you will find abuse, active or passive and low self esteem. The descriptions of Homoeopathy best describe the nature of the second nineteen group of remedies.

A good example of Miasmic descriptions can be found at:

Ayurveda

Ayurveda divides mankind into three groups referred to as Dosha's, the personality descriptions best describe the nature of the first nineteen group of remedies.  Ayurvedic questionnaires can be useful as they can indicate types and groups that are out of balance so can be helpful for selecting remedies especially when they separate mental and physical characteristics.

The following site has information on the three Dosha states of Vata (Psora), Pitta (Sycosis) and Kapha (Syphilis). The information is useful as regards lifestyle tips if we know we are predisposed to being out of balance in a particular group.
